A 24/7 Artists x Memphis Record Pressing campaign
One question. One artist. One hundred records.
Tell us why vinyl matters to you. One artist wins a 100-unit pressing from Memphis Record Pressing, on the project of their choice. 24/7 Artists gets it press-ready.
Memphis Record Pressing manufactures 100 units at no cost to you. You pick the project: a single, an EP, an album, or a best-of compilation from your catalog.
24/7 Artists gets it ready. Sequencing and runtime, master and file delivery, artwork sizing, jacket and label layout, credits, metadata, and barcode.
We build your split sheet and collaborator payout plan, so every producer, writer, and musician on the record gets tracked and paid when it sells. Then you get the playbook to actually sell it.
You leave with a product, not a prize.
Under 90 seconds. Why does vinyl matter to you, and what would you press if you won?

Is the answer real and specific? Does it make someone else want vinyl?
Do you have fans who will buy 100 units, and a plan to reach them?
Is the music ready, or close to ready, to become a record?

Straight talk
The entries that win aren't the polished ones. They're the specific ones. Name a record. Say what it did to you. “Vinyl is warm” is not an answer. Your uncle's copy of a particular album, the sleeve falling apart, is.
Independent artists, 18 and older
US shipping address
No active exclusive agreement that would block you from self-releasing a pressing
You own or control the master and publishing on the project you'd press, or you have written clearance from whoever does
One entry per artist
Public account, so we can find and reshare your post
Read this one twice
That fourth one trips people up, and it's the most useful thing on this page. Before you enter, find out who actually controls the master and the publishing on the project you would press.
A 100-unit short run typically lands around $1,600, or roughly $16 a record. Your real cost is higher once you add artwork, shipping, and fulfillment. That's why we teach the math before we teach the order.
Fewer than you think. If you have under 500 reachable fans, you're planning, not pressing. Around 1,000 monthly listeners, you're getting close. At 10,000 monthly listeners and a handful of shows a year, you're green.
Enter anyway. Readiness is one factor out of four, and if you win we do the prep with you. If you don't win, you'll leave with the playbook and know exactly what “ready” means.
Sides have a runtime limit, and audio quality drops as you push it. Plan for roughly 10 minutes a side as a working guideline. Final specs come from Memphis Record Pressing.
Yes. A best-of is often the smarter first pressing, since the songs already have listeners.
That's part of what you win. We build the split sheet and the payout tracking, so everyone on the record gets paid per sale. It also gives your collaborators a reason to help you sell it.
No. Memphis Record Pressing can handle fulfillment, including pre-orders and pick-and-pack. The records go from the plant to your fans without passing through your apartment.
Announced live on the 24/7 Artists weekly call, and posted on Instagram November 17.
Everyone who enters gets the cost breakdown, the runtime and file guide, and the sales playbook. That's the point.
